About

I am Pascal Diering. I photograph and film for brands, hotels and destinations, with an eye for natural light, landscapes and the atmosphere of a place.

I am based in Germany's Ruhr region and regularly travel to the Sauerland and the Alps.

How it all began

I bought my first camera in 2020. At first, it came along on bike rides. Spontaneous photographs gradually led to dedicated trips in search of light and distinctive places.

My first trip to the Karwendel mountains was in 2021. I travelled in a Seat Ibiza and often slept in the car. That simplicity, and the freedom to respond to the weather and light, still shape my work today.

I have returned to the Dolomites regularly since my first trip in 2022. Tuscany and Madeira have also shaped my eye. What draws me to these places is the quiet, the changing weather and the moments that make an early start worthwhile.
